You see Saints, I did not need Church, so I thought back then, because the old school soul singers came from a gospel background that I did not know anything about, but the lyrics stayed in my heart and that is why I can still sing and remember the words to those old songs. It made a difference in me.

And I am here to tell you today if we could only get Gods Word in us like that era of Motown, Stax and Atlantic Records, what a world this would be. But look at what happen. The songs turned vulgar, the entertainers dress like hoochies and thugs. At least I had a little bit of Church without knowing it, but now there is no church at all in those songs and entertainers.
